Ever since I sniffed gasoline air for the first time more than 25 years ago, I have been fascinated by the automotive industry. Not just because of its dynamics and complexity, but also because of the people at different levels who create this impetus.
One of my strengths is shaping employees with different backgrounds into teams and leading them. During my assignments in France, the Netherlands, South Africa and Germany, I also developed my communication skills within intercultural settings. I am a multi-lingual communicator and, in addition to my mother tongue Dutch, fluent in German, English and French. I could further strengthen my people know-how and negotiating skills during my certification as a mediator.
In 2020 I have started to support young entrepreneurs (in startup situation) offering them my experience and support.
My career in the automotive industry was shaped by a unique 360-degree perspective gained from my experience in the Manufacturing, Wholesale and Retail businesses. In 2015 I founded Global Automotive to offer my versatile skills as a single, integrative product.
Being an experienced marathon runner, mountain biker and rower, even my spare time is characterized by dynamism and perseverance.
